Hope for wealth increases for ‘Yora Kashi’ winners as they receive millions

It’s a great smile for Onella Iradukunda and Jean Bosco Ngayabanguha as they win the top “Yora Kashi” Airtel-Tigo Promotion worth Rwf 20 million.
The duo was handed over the cash prize on December 21,2o18 in front of people at Airtel Head-Quarters in Kigali.
On her side, Ornella Iradukunda who is a citizen from Kanombe Sector In Kicukiro District, she went away with Rwf 10 million cash prize. She is currently a nurse and she said this money will further her finance capacity to finish the building of her shelter that she stopped so far due to lack of financial means.
“I was building my house and I stopped construction works as I faced a challenge of low financial means. This money will help me to finish it and part of the remaining will be allocated to other basic needs in my family,”Iradukunda said.

She really calls other Rwandan population to try this opportunity as it can help them change their life status.
For Jean Bosco Ngayabanguha, the winner from Rulindo District, this money will help him to create an income generating project.
“I was an employee of Kinihira Tea Company in Rulindo District and I believe the Rwf 10 million will be a vital start-up capital to invest in Tigo-Airtel Cash mobile transaction which I think is a good business to further my economic development,” he noted.

As he gives the prizes to the winners, Amit Chawla, the Airtel Rwanda Managing Director said that the promotion attracted many people and met its objectives.
The Yora Kashi promotion began in September 2018, where the clients had to call or send a message to 155 and pay Rwf150.
Over 226 people won different prizes during this promotion; 180 of them won Rwf 500,000 every day, 24 were given Rwf 1 million every month while the duo: Iradukunda and Ngayabanguha became the best and overall winners of Rwf 20 million.
