Merosix launches “Trust Me” App to boost trust in families, domestic employment, and businesses

Kigali, Rwanda – September 9, 2025 — Merosix, a Rwandan technology company, has launched Trust Me, a mobile application designed to improve the management of domestic workers while strengthening trust between employers and employees.

The app was unveiled today during a press briefing in Kigali. According to Merosix CEO, Philbert Majyambere, the innovation is aimed at solving one of the most common challenges households face—finding reliable helpers and ensuring safe, transparent working arrangements.

“All of us need someone who can help us in our homes, but often we don’t know where they are coming from, nor do we have mechanisms to prevent risks,” Majyambere explained.

 

“With Trust Me, both the family and the worker are protected, because employment is based on verified information.”

Digital contracts at your fingertips

The app serves as a digital contract between domestic workers and employers. Once registered, both parties have their information securely stored and accessible through their phones. This reduces informal arrangements and helps prevent misunderstandings.

Through integration with Rwanda’s national identification database (NIDA) and other relevant agencies, the platform ensures accountability and accurate verification of workers.

Employers can trust that the individuals they hire are properly documented, while workers benefit from proof of employment that enhances their credibility and protection.

Affordable and accessible

The Trust Me app is designed to be affordable for all households. Registration costs just RWF 400, with subscription options of RWF 500 per month (RWF 6,000 annually) for families, and RWF 1,000 per month (RWF 12,000 annually) for credit management features tailored to businesses.

“Families often bring in new domestic workers at the start of the school year, especially to care for younger children,” Majyambere said.

“This app arrives at the right time, providing a safe, transparent system that supports households and workers alike.”

Call to businesses and families

Majyambere also encouraged business owners and households to embrace the platform for their safety and efficiency.

“Dear businessmen and women, don’t risk giving someone credit without using Trust Me. And families, don’t take chances hiring a helper without verified information,” he urged.
