How Rwandans are leveraging EDVISA to study in Canada
By Michel Nkurunziza.
Recently a suspect was arrested-by Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) – for allegedly having collected money from people in exchange for US visas.
The suspect was accused by different people who have testified that he took money from them with the promise to help them get visas to be able to travel to the USA.
This is one of the examples which explain why people seeking Visas should leverage certified professional bodies which deal with helping people to get Visas to travel abroad instead of relying on individuals that are not licensed for the services anywhere to avoid being exploited by scammers.
One of the local certified professional bodies is EDVISA International which deals with anything related to school admissions in various countries around the world.
Ignace Mulindabigwi is an immigration Consultant who directs EDVISA Ltd in Rwanda and Capella Immigration Services- Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant registered with College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (ICCRC).

ICCRC is the regulatory body that licenses immigration and citizenship consultants to protect the public.
“In Rwanda, we mostly support students who want to study in Canada to get Visas, especially those who want to study in high school, university and masters’ degree. In Canada though and Capella Immigration Services we help people to seek Visas for people seeking different services,” he said.
Capella Immigration Services provides services related to permanent residence, spouse sponsorship, Quebec skilled worker, express entry/federal skilled workers, Canada experience class, temporary visa, work permits, study permits, visitor visa, super visa, school admission and visa applications internationally as well as consultations.
He said that with experience in immigration services, they know all processes and steps it requires to get Visas.
“We advise those seeking Visas because it requires a lot. We use different strategies to provide better services,” he said, advising people to be suspicious of scammers.
“They should work with certified companies like EDVISA,” he noted.
He was speaking during the general assembly on September 9, 2022.

He said those supported in school admissions and immigration services pay the charged fee in installments.
“Our offices are located at Makuza Peace Plaza, 6th floor in Kigali and those in need of services can contact us at 0788970624,” he said.
Mulindabigwi said that so far over 300 Rwandan students have been supported to be admitted in Canadian schools.
“We also support those from other countries to study in Canada. We urge students to have at least knowledge of French and English because it helps a lot,” he said.
He said they are also looking to operate in the USA and some European countries where students can study in good conditions.
Parents commend the services
Yvette Ingabire, a parent, said: “These times there are so many scammers who masquerade to seek Visas for people. Therefore we commend EDVISA for professionally providing the services. It helped my children and they didn’t face any problem.”
Guillaume Rutembesa said that he benefited from EDVISA services when his children had to study in Canada.

“They helped in getting Visas for my children and guided them to the best schools in Canada,” he said.
Rutembesa said that he heard some people who faced challenges and lost money while seeking the same services from unprofessional people which they never got.
“We commend EDVISA for operating professionally,” he said.
