Three Young Artists won Furaha Boosting Talents Prizes

Three young singers won the FURAHA ‘Boosting your talent’ promo 2019 and returned home with flat screen TV sets and cash prizes.
Jean Claude Niyibizi A.K.A Shema won the best prize of a TV set 32 LB 650V worth FRW 217,000 and RWF 30,000; Clementine Niyonkuru went home with a flat TV set 24 LB 650 V worth RWF 194,000 with RWF 30,000 while Samia Ingabire was handed an envelop of RWF 50,000.
The three winners were selected among six contestants who were also chosen from 46 lucky participants countrywide.
The competition which was organised by Clean Well on Radio Flash as they promote the FURAHA Bar Soap started in 2018 and Many youths have participated.
“We started this initiative to advertise and promote upcoming talents. It has a lot of benefits as people have seen our products and we plan to continue with other brand promotion after this one.” Said Geoffrey Bucyana, CEO of Clean Well company.
Louis Kamanzi, CEO of Flash Radio and Television said that the programme was youth friendly in line with supporting upcoming talented singers.
“Winners can even gain further opportunities from elsewhere. We intend to promote such talents and we expect having more partners to help another number of youths.” Kamanzi said.
Winners speak out
Jean Claude Niyibizi A.K.A Shema thanked FURAHA Bar Soap promo and Flash to organize the programme. “I am going to work hard and this is the beginning. I call up on fellow youths who feel themselves talented in Music to let it be.” He noted.
Clementine Niyonkuru, 17, said that her talent stared at 5 years old when she was singing in children choir. “To win, I just rejected fear and I have participated in various Music competition so far.” She said.
