TAJYIRE Group to launch Tech initiatives in Kigali to boost Rwanda’s digital transformation
By The Inspirer.
TAJYIRE Group Holdings is set to launch three integrated initiatives aimed at advancing Rwanda’s digital transformation, strengthening practical STEM education, and expanding access to technology-driven opportunities.
The launch event, themed “Building Rwanda’s Digital Future,” will take place in June 2026 in Kigali, bringing together stakeholders from government, the private sector, education institutions, and the wider innovation ecosystem.
The initiatives to be unveiled include the TAJYIRE Robotic System for School Learners, the TecBridgeScholarship Program, and the TAJYIRE Distribution Engine (TDE).
The management of TAJYIRE Group Holdings explains that the programmes mark a new phase in the company’s evolution from a technology-focused enterprise into an integrated ecosystem combining education, research and development, and market-driven innovation systems.
It further notes that the initiatives respond to growing demand for practical digital skills, innovation capacity, and entrepreneurship opportunities, while addressing persistent gaps in hands-on technology learning and structured pathways from training to employment.
The robotic system is designed as a STEM learning platform for students, introducing robotics and programming through practical, hands-on engagement. It aims to strengthen creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and early exposure to engineering and technology concepts across different education levels.
The TecBridge Program is a scholarship-based initiative targeting underserved and vulnerable youth, providing training in digital skills, technical and vocational education, innovation exposure, and career preparation. The programme is intended to support self-employment and the development of skilled technicians in the digital economy.
The TAJYIRE Distribution Engine is described as an integrated system that connects production, training, innovation, and market access. It brings together training centres, research and development, suppliers, distributors, and marketplace operations into a coordinated ecosystem designed to improve efficiency and scalability.
The management further highlights that the company has been developing an ecosystem approach through its operations in Kigali, including an electronics marketplace that brings together more than 1,300 technicians and service providers, alongside its research and development and training facilities.
It adds that the initiatives align with Rwanda’s national priorities in digital transformation, STEM education, youth empowerment, skills development, entrepreneurship, and job creation, contributing to the country’s broader goal of building a knowledge-based economy.
The launch is expected to provide a platform for engagement between stakeholders and showcase implementation-ready solutions in robotics, education technology, and digital distribution, while opening opportunities for partnerships across sectors.
