Rwanda Will Host the Inaugural International Health Ministerial Summit

Kigali, Rwanda – November 26, 2024 – Rwanda will host the first-ever International Health Ministerial Summit from December 4–5, 2024, bringing together global healthcare leaders to address pressing health challenges and strengthen medical systems.

Organized by Informa Markets, the Summit is themed “Strengthening Health Systems for a Better Tomorrow” and will feature high-level discussions on healthcare innovations and solutions.

The event will focus on critical issues, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, access to medicines, research and development, diagnostics, HIV/AIDS, health equity, and women’s health. Africa-specific initiatives, such as digital health innovations, healthcare delivery systems, and financing opportunities, will also take center stage. Delegates will engage in keynote speeches, interactive panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and delivering actionable solutions.

Rwanda’s community-based universal healthcare system, robust immunization programs, and forward-thinking healthcare policies make it an ideal host for the Summit.
