How Muregwa, a Burundian-American is helping vulnerable Africans

There is a saying that “Charity begins at home” none understands this statement more than Muregwa does, the founder of Muregwa Foundation Angel, which is a charity organization aims at helping poor and vulnerable Africans.

Muregwa, currently living in Colorado, USA, says, she is committed to helping the poor families because, she also had experienced such a bitter life and she is in good position to feel the pain and sorrow of vulnerable groups such as; street children, poor old women, orphans among others.

Shelter, food, clothes are among the basic needs to every human being and Muregwa has never forgotten to commence her charity by building houses, food stuff distribution, scholastic materials provision to needy people in Rwanda and Burundi.

“We have carried out so many activities since the establishment of our organization, most of which we built three houses to vulnerable people in Burundi, we also distributed scholastic materials such as pens, notebooks in primary schools as well as sanitary pads to girls and foodstuff to needy families.” Muregwa told The Inspirer adding that, as per today, the organization has not yet entered into partnership with any sponsor or other donor organizations, all activities carried out are from her sole ordinary wage.

Muregwa is enthusiastic to help her fellow poor Africans and she calls upon other people whose life was blessed with much, average or little, to join her initiative, because, according to her, to help needy people does not require to be tycoon or to be as rich as Cresus, instead, it only requires the charitable heart and the willingness to give back to the community.

The kind-hearted lady is eyeing to help vulnerable elder women by providing clothes and foodstuff, but she did not mention the number of women she targets to help and she wishes, even when she will no longer be alive, her organization to survive and what she initiated to be implemented by others to reach her goal of helping vulnerable people.

“I wish, even when I will have died, to leave my legacy of helping the needy because I know how it hurts to lack food, shelter, clothes, while they are people wasting them regardless of the pain, grief, sorrow of so many people around the globe who can spend days and nights without touching on their lips, others are dwelling on the streets.” Muregwa regrets

Muregwa’s charitable activities are hindered by insufficient funds, with her eagerness to keep the momentum, her dreams to cover a significant scale is yet to be achieved and calls for every human with kind heart to intervene by helping street children, orphans and any other vulnerable people.
