Kigali: IFA SPEAK & TECH ACADEMY provides a platform for English learners

The English language school “IFA SPEAK & TECH ACADEMY” located in Kigali City in Kimironko Sector, Gasabo District has provided a platform for those who want to learn English from both public, various businesses and elsewhere, where students learn to simply speak the language in a short period.

It is a school that started in 2017, which teaches three classes, consisting of beginners i.e. basic speaking and writing, the middle class who are trying to use this language and those who already know, but want to have some training or additional courses.

The basic course lasts for six months, the second course lasts for four months while those who already know but want to improve only study for two months.

In addition to being an IFA SPEAK & TECH ACADEMY, it helps people to learn English fluently and teach technology in a variety of fields, whether in business, agriculture, animal husbandry and more.

In the last four years, the school has taught more than 200 people, they are well educated and they know how to speak English without being taught according to the school’s mission.

Some of the school dropouts who have not been able to speak English fluently claim that they have achieved everything they want, and are now proficient in using, writing and speaking English after gaining skills from this school.

Emmanuel Nduwayezu is one of them. He says: “Knowing well to speak English in public helped me to pass the exam that will allow me to continue my studies abroad, this school has helped us learn English as soon as possible ”.

 

Jolly Umuhire also says that since she went to study English at “ICT FOR ALL IN ALL LTD”, it has helped her to improve her English proficiency, so that she can now speak it in public, and even to the point where she can teach it to others.

“I was reluctant to speak English because it was at the lowest level and I didn’t know it very well, but since I started studying in this school I was proud of the way I spoke English and I was not forced to do so. I believe now I can teach it to others “. She says.

Theoneste Uwayezu, the principal of the school, explains that the courses are offered in three stages, where they are taught in different ways with the help of experienced teachers, and are conducted in a short period of time.

“Courses are offered in three categories known to our customers, we have a six-month beginner, a four-month intermediate and high-level English speakers who already know English, but want to improve on,” he said.

“These ones get courses for two months, students in these three classes study in the morning from 8:00 to 11:00 am; 2:pm to 5:00pm and 5:00pm to 8:00pm.” He adds.  

Uwayezu says the aim is to help those who dare to speak English fluently, whether in public or in any other communication, and that this is in line with the aspirations of some leaders at various levels.

“Our goal is to improve the ability of our clients to speak English fluently, especially for administrators, businessmen and high school and college graduates, whether they speak it in public or in other discussions, one manages to fluently speak English in only four months. We urge people to approach us in any way they wants to study and make it easier for them to learn”.

Furthermore, the school also trains those who want to learn to interpret or translate languages ​​into other languages, such as English translation into Kinyarwanda and other translations, proofreading and other related exams in different languages.
