The Post Office has launched a new ePo Box for sending and receiving messages

The National Post Office of Rwanda has opened a new ePo Box to send and receive messages.

This method is not going to change the existing one but it is going to increase the technology in sending and receiving messages or letters.

KAYITARE Celestin, the representative of the post office in Rwanda, said that this method is for every Rwandan to have a post office box, because before many families used one box and paid for one.

He also said that this will reduce the time the message will wait for you because the message will be sent and you will get a message on your phone that it has arrived, and when it arrives you will get another message telling you that it has arrived.

He said “this will be consistent with the telephone because that is where you will receive the message”. And to open this using your phone by dialing *801*631# for small phone users and smartphone owners is to go to the website.

Also, this is different from other companies like sheefting because they usually charge a lot of money for things that you get from abroad, but here it is only 8,000 FRW.

The director of ePo Box, HAKIZIMANA Francois, has come back to the price that will be given every year where a person will give 8000 FRW wherever you are in the country only because of the money for delivering the message (delivering fees) will increase.

TETA Danone Princia, a witness to this new system, says that he used to import goods using other expensive sites but when he found out about ePo Box it was easier for him because now he pays the cost of 8000 FRW per year. And before it was expensive for him.
