“We help everyone to learn and improve spoken English in 4 months” —Uwayezu

A local company dubbed: “ICT For All in All” initiates an English language teaching program to help Rwandans learn and improve their fluency in speaking.

The initiative has been initiated while many Rwandans want to use English language in various work perspectives such as Education, Trade, Tourism, Transport and in other many business sectors.

Théoneste Uwayezu, the founder and Managing Director of ICT For All in All Company said that they have employed specialized teachers from different nationalities with the capacity to train a person until he/she becomes fluent in speaking English within only four months where, learners attend a three-hour class three times a week.

Current trainers come from Kenya, Eritrea, Switzerland, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and Rwanda.

Uwayezu said that lessons are conducted at the company’s headquarters in Kimironko sector, Kigali city.

Speaking to The Inspirer, Uwayezu noted that they train various categories of people including traders and other business operators, leaders in different entities and others who want to learn and boost their eloquence in speaking English within the period of four months. They also help people attend stable English classes online.

The lessons are conducted in form of debates to help learners gain more skills from shared discussions.

Apart from spoken English training, the company also helps people to do research, to draft and implement fundable projects. “We help them to prepare Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and International English Language Test (IELTS).” Uwayezu noted.

“We help people to establish fundable projects in commercial perspectives, we also help youth to conduct research up to the inaugural stage without any challenge as they were also trained in English language speaking.” Uwayezu said.

He added that the class hosts only 10 people who attend three times a week with physical distancing by complying with the measures to contain COVID-19 pandemic.

“They attend once during the working days and twice during the week-ends (Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon). Learners have to attend all the 50 sessions that last for four months where they spend three hours in class the day they come.” Uwayezu said.

The class has different shifts of three hours: 6:00 to 8:00am, 2:00 to 5:00pm and they will soon launch another shift that will run from 5:00 to 8:00pm.

Since its inception in 2017, ICT For All in All company has trained over 100 people and some among them who operate commercial activities are no longer struggling to pay interpreters when they go to purchase goods from Dubai.
