Rwanda Education Minister to engage youth at Gen-Z Comedy show

Rwanda’s Minister of Education, Joseph Nsengimana, has been announced as the special guest at the upcoming Gen-Z Comedy show, where he is expected to engage young people on education-related issues.

The comedy event is scheduled for August 27, 2026, and will mark the final edition of Gen-Z Comedy for the month.

Known for showcasing emerging comedy talent, Gen-Z Comedy also brings together prominent personalities who use the platform to interact with and speak to young audiences.

Minister Nsengimana is expected to discuss Rwanda’s education programmes and priorities with young people attending the show. He will also deliver a message to students preparing to return to school following the ongoing school holiday.

Businesswoman and public figure Kate Bashabe is another guest scheduled to interact with the audience, while musicians Diez Dolla and ZeoTrap will provide musical entertainment.

The comedy line-up will feature several comedians who have gained popularity through Gen-Z Comedy, including Ambassador w’Abakonsomateri, Muhinde, Salisa, Taikun Ndahiro, Mavide & Pazzo, Joshua and Rufendeke, among others.
