Minister Nduhungirehe welcomes Arsenal fans from across Africa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe, has welcomed fans of the English football club Arsenal who have come from across Africa to attend the Arsenal Africa Fans Festival 2025.
This three-day festival is being held in Rwanda for the second time and is expected to attract over 600 Arsenal supporters. This marks the sixth edition of the festival.
On Friday evening, the fans were welcomed by high-ranking government officials, particularly from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and the Ministry of Sports.
Participants of the AAFF2025 festival will engage in various activities including charity work, a community service initiative involving tree planting, and tourism-related events.
Rwanda is hosting the festival through the Rwanda Arsenal Fans Community (RAFC).
Attendees of AAFF2025 have come from countries including Ghana, South Sudan, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Namibia.
On the second day of the festival, the group is scheduled to visit the Aheza Healing and Career Center located in Bugesera District, which provides various forms of support to survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
