“Genocide perpetrators lacked discipline” ERM coordinator told students
By Elias Hakizimana.
Young students were urged to be guided by discipline as the key to positive conscious in their daily activities leading them to build a peaceful and safe society without Genocide Ideology.
The call was made by ERM-Hope Vocational Training Centrer’s Coordinator George Williams Rwambali, on June 28, 2018 as they commemorate the Genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi in 1994.
“Genocide perpetrators were lacking discipline that is a tool in the brain guiding you to act well or worse, when you lack discipline you have nothing, you have zero, the discipline must guide you even in your future employment as you graduate from schools, when you have discipline, you see a human being in his/her image instead of naming him/her what he/she is not,” Rwambali told the students.
“Let us have discipline and when you have discipline you will not have genocide ideology in your mind. Discipline does not have hate, it is a component that can help you live in any situation of life politely,” He added.

He urged the young students to remember the past by building on the present opportunities to prepare their good future instead of being led by drug abuse.
The commemoration that took place at ERM-Hope Vocational Training Centre in Masaka Sector was graced by various people including students of ERM, Groupe Scolaire Masaka and others from St.Emmanuel, ERM and Government officials.
Jocelyne Rwabulindi, the in-charge of Good governance in Masaka sector recalled the students that they are parents of tomorrow’s generation who must teach them discipline. She told them that Ndi Umunyarwanda ‘I am a Rwandan’ is the best weapon to eliminate Genocide Ideology.

“Being lured into drug abuse and prostitution does not give value to who you do remember today, you are the ones to teach discipline to your children tomorrow when your parents are old, Ndi Umunyarwanda is the best weapon that makes us one person today,” Rwabulindi noted.
