Rwanda’s coffer gained Rwf2.5bn taxes from Forever company in ten years

At least Rwf 2.5 billion taxes were contributed by Forever Living Product Company in Rwanda over the 10 years ago since 2008 of their existence.
This was revealed by Hakizimana Gilbert the country manager during their celebrating meeting of 40 years in existing by promoting food supplements and body oil that are organically produced.
The companies distribute products extracted from natural plants in Africa.
He said that besides paying taxes, the company has also provided Rwf3 billions of bonus to the company members.
“The company has over 20,000 members whose lives have been transformed through job creation and health improvement,” he said.
He said that Forever products have helped the youth to create jobs for Rwandan youth.
“They graduated out of poverty, they managed to study universities and completed them thanks to Forever,” he said.
Aline Atwine, the top distributor of Forever products said that the products pay 18 per cent on taxes on purchased products and 15 per cent on retailed products.
Jean Pierre Nkinamubanzi from Kicukiro district said that with 2 years of experience working with Forever, it has changed his lives.
He said that he is at Rwf350,000 wage.
