By Elias Hakizimana.
BK Arena Sports and Entertainment Center in collaboration with Kigali City Tours and Ikaze Rwanda Tours and Travel launched a sports tourism program called “BK Arena Guided-Tours”.
The program was launched on Friday, May 5, 2023 inside BK Arena with the aim to preserve the history of the events taking place in this first entertainment building in the region.
Aaron Gaga, the Deputy Director General of BK Arena said that this program was initiated to continue preserving sports-based tourism.
“We thought of this service after having learnt that many people are curious about this building. As you know, our country has chosen to host various conferences and games. It is in this context that we want to leave the history of various activities that take place in this building.” Gaga said.

Yves Nkundabagenzi, Founder and Director General of Ikaze Rwanda Tours and Travel said that this initiative will help those going to BK Arena to reach places they have not been to before.
“We set up this service in order to help those who already come to the BK Arena to reach places they have not been able to reach. Another thing is to help children who are interested to study architecture to come and see the technology used to build this facility,” Nkundabagenzi said.
The management of BK Arena announces that in the coming days, it will continue to expand its various activities including the creation of a museum, the opening of a restaurant that works 24 hours to serve clients’ potentials in leisure.
