Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju appointed as Ambassador

The Cabinet meeting held on Friday, October 18, 2024, chaired by President Paul Kagame, appointed Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju, former Minister of Sports, as Rwanda’s Ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Munyangaju served as the Minister of Sports from November 2019 until August 2024, when she was succeeded by Richard Nyirishema, who started his term with the new government.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. Before her role in government, Munyangaju worked as a senior manager at SONARWA Life Insurance and previously served as an auditor at COOPEDU, among other positions in her professional career.
In other appointments made during the same Cabinet meeting, Patricie Uwase, former Minister of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure, was named the Director General of Rwanda Cooperation Initiative (RCI).
Ulrich Kayinamura was also appointed as the CEO of Agaciro Development Fund. Kayinamura previously held the position of Head of Investments at BK Capital and has over 15 years of experience in the investment sector.
