President Kagame Arrives in Nairobi

President Kagame has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the 59th Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The Office of the President, Village Urugwiro, announced that President Kagame will participate in a panel discussion with heads of state focusing on “Africa’s Development, the Role of the African Development Bank, and the Needed Reforms in the International Financial System.”

President Kagame will join President William Ruto of Kenya and other leaders for this discussion.

The session will be preceded by speeches from AfDB President Dr. Akinwumi Adesina and Islamic Development Bank President Muhammad Al Jasser.

This meeting is taking place as AfDB celebrates its 60th anniversary, highlighting its significant contributions to funding various development projects across Africa.

Since its establishment in 1964, AfDB has funded over 5,000 development projects in Africa.
