New series on AI for Earth and Sustainability Science launches next week

AI for Good Discovery, a year-round digital platform of the United Nations, is launching a new AI for Good Discovery Series on Earth and Sustainable Science next week starting from February 1st, 2023.
This series highlights seminal and recent progress in Artificial Intelligence (AI) modelling and understanding of the Earth system.
Overall, the series embark on the role of AI in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The webinar series will cover AI-enabled diagnosis, prediction and remedy of environmental crises including disaster risk reduction and preparedness, environmental degradation, climate change, societal impacts and dynamics, and the sustainable and responsible use of natural resources such as water and energy.
