President Paul Kagame, the Commander-in-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), on Monday addressed more than 6,000 soldiers, police officers, and prison wardens who completed intensive training at the Gabiro military training center in Eastern Province.
According to Village Urugwiro, the Office of the President, the session marked the conclusion of a joint military course bringing together personnel from the country’s three security organs.
Dressed in RDF uniform, President Kagame engaged the officers on lessons of leadership and service, as the trainees showcased the skills they had acquired — particularly in military command and operational strategy.
