Jeannette Kagame Praises Kepler College for Promoting Inclusive Education

By The Inspirer.

First Lady Jeannette Kagame has commended Kepler College for advancing inclusive education that supports refugees and persons with disabilities.

She made the remarks on November 12, 2025, during the graduation of 293 students — 43 from the Kigali campus and 250 from the Kiziba campus in Karongi District.

Mrs. Kagame said she was touched by Kepler’s commitment to inclusive learning, recalling her own experience of growing up in exile. “I know what it means to live outside your country and miss opportunities others enjoy,” she said.

She noted that the graduates’ success represents a vision that every student deserves access to quality education, regardless of background. “Kepler’s curriculum prepares graduates the world needs — professionals ready to collaborate, innovate, and thrive,” she added.

Education Minister Dr. Joseph Nsengimana congratulated the graduates, saying their success reflects Rwanda’s drive to provide inclusive, high-quality education.

This was Kepler College’s first graduation since becoming an accredited university in 2022. The institution offers degree programs in Project Management and Business, along with short-term professional courses. Its students come from Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Eritrea, and Gabon.
