Airtel winner Uwamahoro plans to expand her tomato business

After being named as the winner of the 10th Airtel Moto Tunga Promo on Thursday November 23, 2017, Adeline Uwamahoro has said she is now focusing on expanding her business after hitting a jackpot.
Speaking to the media, a 25 year-old tomato vendor from Gisozi and a mother of two children was surprised to be the lucky winner of a motorcycle and expressed her gratitude to Airtel Telecommunication Company for the prize.
“I will continue using Airtel because it gives back to its clients through social corporate responsibility. Right now, I will hire someone to ride the motorcycle so that I can earn daily income which I can use to expand my tomato business,” She said.
Airtel Moto Tunga started early this year and has so far provided ten motorcycles including the one of Uwamahoro.
In coming two weeks, the giant telecommunication company will give out two motorcycles and a car to three lucky winners during the finals of the Airtel Tunga Promotions.
Addressing the media, Liliane Munganyinka from Airtel sales and marketing department pointed out that this promotion is aimed at encouraging and giving back to the customers through corporate social responsibility.
“We hereby encourage all Rwandans to join the Airtel family so that they can become the lucky winners through this promotion, today, Uwamahoiro has become lucky and she walks away with a brand new motorcycle. Last Thursday, Pierre Nsabimana, a popcorn retailer from Kinyinya was the lucky winner.
To enter the game, one has to create a message “1” using an Airtel SIM Card number message box and send to 155.
