The company focuses on educational support activities, including but not limited to teacher Continuous Professional Development (CPD), training content development, inclusive and play-based teaching and learning materials, book development, research and assessment, as well as inclusive digital learning in literacy and education technology across Africa.
SPLBR is a dynamic educational consulting firm dedicated to improving the quality of education through research, innovation, and the development of inclusive learning solutions.
OUR SERVICES
SPLBR provides comprehensive educational support services, including:
- Tailored interventions designed to remove learning barriers
- Enhancing academic performance and promoting social-emotional development for students
- Tutoring, special education, counseling, and assistive technology to foster inclusive learning environments
- Guidance on child development
KEY COMPONENTS OF OUR EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES
- Academic Support: Tutoring, homework assistance, and individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students facing academic challenges
- Specialized Instruction: Speech and language therapy, as well as early intervention services for developmental delays
- Emotional and Mental Health Support: Counseling services and social-emotional learning programs to help manage stress and anxiety
- Assistive Technology: Tools such as voice recognition software and specialized hardware to support students with disabilities
- Staff and Family Support: Professional development for educators, career guidance for students, and resources for parents
These services are delivered by learning support officers, education assistants, and specialized consultants to create inclusive and effective learning environments.
CALL FOR TRAINERS
SPLBR is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join a roster of certified trainers in:
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
- Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE)
- Inclusive Education
- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
- Gender Transformative Approaches (GTA)
Selected candidates will participate in a five-day Training of Trainers (ToT). Upon successful completion, they will support SPLBR programs across Rwanda.

- Guideline and policy development
- Research
- Advocacy
- SRHR, Inclusive Education, and CSE
- Technical assistance and programme support
WHO CAN APPLY
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, public health, gender studies, psychology, project management, or a related field
- Experience: Proven experience in participatory facilitation and community-based training
- Community Skills: Ability to effectively engage diverse groups, including youth, women, men, local leaders, and marginalized communities
- Language: Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English required; knowledge of French is an added advantage
- Age: Applications from early-career professionals are strongly encouraged
