Rwamagana: Advent Group Ltd factory appreciates the country’s good governance in promoting entrepreneurs

Despite consequences faced by many of the factories due to Covid-19 pandemic, Advent Group Ltd alcoholic based beverage factory in Rwamagana district lauds efforts by the Government of Rwanda to support entrepreneurs during this period.

Mr. CARDAS, the factory’s deputy Director General told Kigalifiesta that they established the factory to create more jobs for Rwandans and promote made in Rwanda products while seeking for their economic development.

Advent Group factory produce various alcoholic beverage including Whisky, Cavort, Golden Whisky, Grandsire Whisky, Mambo Whisky and more.

The factory’s products are sold mainly locally and at international markets in neighboring regional countries. The factory has a strong team of personnel including experts from Asia.

Mr.Karsas, Production and Quality Control Manager of the factory said that they use technological materials to produce quality beer that has no effects on consumers’ health.

“We make sure we control every day that there is no one who is falsifying our products to damage our originality. We have so far introduced a new packaging of big bottles which are good for take home,” he said.

Abdul Nshimiyimana, one of employees by this factory said that living conditions were so critical for him before being hired by the factory. He testifies that he started some development activities since he started touching the salary.

“During Covid-19 outbreak, the factory helped us to find food stuffs and they continue giving us our salaries on time despite the lockdown. Our employer tried to avail for stuffs for casual workers and none among us suffered from hunger,” Nshimiyimana said.

Before Covid-19, the factory had planned to expand its production by producing Non-alcoholic beverages for those who do not take beer. They say that in very coming days they will start producing these sweet beverages.

Advent Group factory incepted its activities in Rwanda since 2014 with a team consisting of five (5) Technicians and many other employee including Rwandans in big number.

The factory’s authority thanks the Government of Rwanda for supporting entrepreneurs. They also request for easing taxes which are still on high and helping them to get loans to rescue their business.
