Munezero seeks for financial assistance for Kidney transplant in India

Munezero Jean is suffering from a serious kidney malfunction and needs financial support to replace it from India in August 2021.

Munezero Jean is a lecturer at the ESTB Vocational School in Musanze district, Northern Province of Rwanda and is asking for help to enable him to continue to be assisted by a machine for blood dialysis as his kidneys are not functioning and if he stop the treatment, he has only three weeks for life!

Munezero started using a blood dialysis machine in 2017, which is dedicated to help human kidneys that are no longer functioning.

This service is needed three times a week with the facilitation team of African Health Care Network Hospital located in Rubavu District Rwanda, and every treatment fee is Rwf92,500 equivalent to “100$”, which means that 300$ is required per week.

As a result of his illness, he has already put his family at risk.

Munezero has now a debt of 150$ for hospital and has already been informed that they are going to suspend his treatment if he is unable to pay.

He said his financial capacity had been limited as he could not afford to pay even for the children’s schooling and that his wife’s business had stopped spending money his treatment.

Munezero says that the Ministry of Health of Rwanda has already accepted to pay him the medical expenses in India, but he will pay the cost of laboratory tests of compatibility for kidney’s donor in King Faisal Hospital in Rwanda which means that the test cost is $2600.

The cost of passport in Rwanda for 3 persons is $ 306, the cost of Medical Visa in India is $ 428.7 for 3 persons,

The cost of travelling (accommodation, transportation and meals) to India is 8400$ in 3 months and $ 3000 of reserve for unexpected problems and post-kidney transplant surgery services in India.

A total should be over $ 14,735 (RWF14,735,000) to accomplish all needed for a kidney transplant treatment in YASHODA HYDRABAD HOSPITAL in India

Munezero calls on those with a heartfelt gratitude to help him get that treatment, return in his family and continue his work as a lecturer.
