Coach Hey makes changes to Amavubis’ squad to face Zanzibar

Rwamda coach Antonie Hey has unsurprisingly made some changes to the starting lineup to face Zanzibar in Kenya on Tuesday.

So in comes second goalie Yves Kimenyi or Marcel Nzarora replacing team Jean Lac ‘Bakame’ Ndayishimye who is expected to be rested.

The mid-field includes:Ally Niyonzima, Oliver Sefu, and ImranNshimiyimana which means DjihadBizimana and Yannick Mukunzi will be rested.

Defense wise, Soter Kayumba, Fautin Usengimana, and Eric Rutanga take a rest while Fitina Ombelenga, Herve Rugwiro, Emmanuel Imanishimwe take up the back line.

Defender Manzi Thierry who is suffering from an hamstring is replaced by Ally Mbogo while the duo of Sekamana Maxime as well as Innocent Nshuti who next started in the 2-0 defeat against host Kenya start in the attack while Justin Micho and Abeddy Birmahire will be out.

APR FC forward Muhadjili Hakizimana will lead Coach Heys’ attack.

The top two teams will qualify to the next round of this year’s CECAFA Senior Challenge; Uganda is the defending Champions having won the trophy 14 times in total.
