Fuel prices decrease in Rwanda

Petroleum prices in Rwanda have decreased again, as announced by the National Regulatory Authority for Public Utilities (RURA).

In a statement released on Tuesday, RURA indicated that the price of petrol will be 1,574 RWF per liter, down from 1,629 RWF, while the price of diesel will be 1,576 RWF per liter, reduced from 1,652 RWF.

The RURA announcement specifies that these prices will take effect starting Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 7 PM.

RURA explained that the fluctuations in prices are mainly due to changes in petroleum prices observed in the international market.

These prices will be maintained for the next two months, indicating that they will be reviewed again at that time.
