KETHA School holds a workshop to equip students with professional ethics within the tourism and hospitality industry

Kigali Excellent Tourism and Hospitality Academy (KETHA) located in Kimironko Sector, Gasabo District has today, on November 9, 2023, organized a workshop for students at Infinity Hotel Kimironko with the aim of equipping them with leadership skills and professional ethics within the Tourism and Hospitality industry.

The workshop has been organized by the school management and the expert in the said industry, SIMBI DUSABE Cecile.

“Such training will facilitate the young generation to be engaged in the proper activities and being characterized by professional ethics which are needed.” Said SIMBI DUSABE Cecile, an expert in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

She added that the youth need to be oriented enough so that they can maximize the right attitudes towards excellent service provision.

In his opening remarks, Alphonse Habimana, the School Principal told the students that following the course properly is important and that being equipped with relevant training courses is an added advantage as KETHA School focuses more on linking graduates to the labor market.

Some important topics discussed during the workshop include: Understanding integrity and Resilience as future professionals, Components of integrity and resilience, Steps to mastering integrity and resilience as well as the rationale of integrity and resilience.

Students also got a moment to interact with experts during the session of questions and answers.

This workshop has been organized for the students from Tourism and Hospitality trades from level 4 and level five.

This important workshop has also been assisted by the Deputy Principal in Charge of studies and Trainers.

With smiles, Princess IYIZIRE, Student Level 5 Tourism expressed feelings of appreciation towards good initiatives of KETHA management, where this education institution used to work hard by providing the necessary practical activities, looking for internship places for students, and connecting the students with experts to get some tips and right attitudes.
