Renowned Rwanda’s gospel singer Vestine Ishimwe and Ouedraogo Idrissa celebrate their legal marriage

Gospel singer Ishimwe Vestine, who performs alongside her sibling Kamikazi Dorcas, recently shared beautiful photos capturing extraordinary moments from her legal marriage ceremony with her beloved, Ouedraogo Idrissa.

Ishimwe Vestine and Ouedraogo tied the knot on January 15, 2025, at Kinyinya Sector in Gasabo District.

Only those representing Ishimwe Vestine’s music interests were permitted to take photos and videos during the event.

Despite this, the news quickly spread after the couple made their legal vows. Some people commented on how quickly the young singer got married, while others believed it was the perfect time to start a family.

Among those who honored them was journalist Irene Murindahabi, who represents the music interests of the Vestine & Dorcas group.

In a message shared on social media, she congratulated Ishimwe with the words, “Congratulations Vestine, on behalf of MIE, we wish you a happy home with your loved one, brother Idrissa.”

She also included a Bible verse from Proverbs 3:10: “Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

Ishimwe Vestine, born on April 2, 2003, in Muhoza Sector, Musanze District, married Ouedraogo Idrissa, born on April 21, 1989, in Burkina Faso.
